How our core deposit system works

For certain exchange items, particularly professionally remanufactured fuel injectors, we charge a core deposit. This ensures that the corresponding used part is returned to us after replacement.

Once your old part has arrived and has been matched to your order, we will process the refund of the core deposit paid.

Step 1 – Order an exchange item

Order an exchange item subject to a core deposit from us, such as a professionally remanufactured fuel injector. The core deposit is 50 € per item.

When ordering multiple items subject to a core deposit, the deposit is charged separately for each item.

Step 2 – Pay the core deposit

After completing your order, you will receive a separate message from us containing the payment details for the core deposit.

Payment can be made by PayPal, credit card or bank transfer. Please always include your order number so that we can allocate the payment correctly.

Your order will be dispatched once the required core deposit has been received in full.

Step 3 – Receive your order and core return form

Your order includes a core return form. Please complete the form in full and place it in the return parcel together with the old part.

The return form enables us to match the old part to your order quickly and accurately.

Step 4 – Return the old part within 14 days

Please send the old part back to us no later than 14 calendar days after receiving your order.

The customer is responsible for the core return shipping costs. Please ensure that the parcel has sufficient postage and, where possible, use a tracked shipping service. Keep the shipping receipt until the core deposit refund has been completed.

Step 5 – Receive your core deposit refund

Once your old part has arrived and has been successfully matched to your order, we will normally process the refund of the core deposit within 4–5 working days.

The refund will generally be made using the same payment method used to pay the core deposit. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear in your account.
